The Bloomingville Home
Last May, after years of carrying Bloomingville products in the shop, I visited them in Denmark. It was a real treat (and such a warm welcome), and of course I couldn't wait to see what they had conjured up for this next season! Years of being in this world of design and retail has taught me that only when standing in the showroom where they have curated their collection, do you truly feel and see what their vision was as they thoughtfully chose each piece.
I love Bloomingville's unique and sometimes playful approach to Danish, Scandinavian and Nordic design trends. When a shipment arrived at the shop I couldn't wait to open it. Their products were SO well responded to and often conversation pieces. From napkins with cute sayings, to their kitchen scales (just LOOK below because I found how you can still get your hands on one) which we shipped to many places, even back to Europe, and still makes me giggle!
Driven by a fascination of Nordic living and style, as well as the famed Danish aesthetic and traditions, founder Betina Stampe established Bloomingville in 2000. Since then, she has shared her passion for creative ways of keeping the home in a mode of constant change. If you are at all familiar with Bloomingville (and if not I'll do my best to help you to be below and will continue to do so), you'll see that they are without a doubt finding creative ways to accomplish "bringing happiness into homes".
As most people know, I believe our homes are a reflection of who we are, what we feel, and how we want people to feel in our homes and around us, so as seasons, occasions, holidays, or we change, our homes follow and reflect us as individuals and families!
As Bloomingville says, we have an "ever changing home"
Below is a glimpse & a peak into the Bloomingville showroom, catalogue and instagram page. You will see not only the happiness but also the refreshed and warm informal ambiance their products can bring into our homes!
Follwing are some of my Bloomingville Favourites!
You don't need to go all the way to Denmark, you can find these and other pieces right here in your backyard (well almost)!
